Tech Tips are to help you maintain proper operation and longevity of your dental unit and equipment. Tech Tips will be periodically updated.

• Mircro Irrigation Bottles: At the end of the day unscrew the bottle just enought to release the pressure. This can help to prevent pin hole leaks or bursting at the seams. Keep the bottles fairly full during use to help ensure proper flow through the handpiece. Low fluid levels can result in inconsistent flow. Have replacement bottles on hand and ready for use.
• Self-Contained systems: we HIGHLY recommend using the Evacuation System Cleaner daily (it doesn't have to be ASI's but it needs to be enzyme based). Let it sit in the waste tank over night, then purge with water.
• If you use disinfection tablets be sure to wait 15 minutes before use to prevent water system blockage.
• Replace the air exhaust filter to ensure the inner compartments of your unit remain clean.
• Replace separator solids trap at least once a week depending on volume.
• Operate the master regulator with 80 PSI or less to ensure proper maintenance of pressure related parts.
